Circle/Long Triangle Earrings (Desert)
Dramatic, one of a kind cloisonné earrings that sway with every turn. These gorgeous glass enamel earrings are made in a color pallet I call desert. They measure 3 inches in length and look great with any of the other pieces in the Ice color collection.
The technique that I do is called Cloisonné Enamel. Each piece of jewelry is created by me using fine silver, sterling silver, and fine ground glass powder. The glass powder is moistened with water and applied to the fine silver with a tiny paintbrush. Each layer of glass is heated in my kiln to melt the glass powder and have it become one with the silver that is behind it, this is done multiple times. While the frames for each piece may look similar, the glass enamel artwork within every piece is unique just like their collector.
I like to think that each and every piece that I make can be worn while dressing up for a party or for everyday wear.
