Triangle Drop Earrings (Desert)
These triangle enamel earrings are showstoppers! They have wonderful movement as they dangle from your ears. Measuring 7/8 across and dangle 2 ¼ with the leverback ear wires. The photo shown is in the color palette called desert and matches well with other pieces in the desert pallet. While the earrings are pictured with leverback ear hooks they can be swapped out for post style if you prefer.
The technique that I use is called Cloisonné Enamel. Each piece of jewelry is created using fine silver, sterling silver and fine ground glass powder. The glass powder is applied to the fine silver with a tiny paintbrush. Each layer of glass is then heated in a kiln to melt the glass powder and have it become one with the silver that is behind it, this is done multiple times. While the frames for each piece may look similar the glass enamel artwork within every piece is unique just like their collector.
I like to think that each and every piece that I make can be worn to accent elegant party dress or for everyday wear.
